Mahmoud Osman Abdel Aziz Kheder is the founder and President of Trout and Partners Egypt, the latest establishment of Trout and Partners international network.
Before establishing Trout and Partners Egypt, Mahmoud held several top management positions that included:
Managing Director for Halwani Brothers Egypt (a $120Million operation).
Senior Vice President for Americana group and the General Manager for Cairo Poultry group (a $400Million operation).
The Vice President for Savola edible oils for East Africa region and General Manager for Savola Egypt (a $300Million operation).
Before taking on General management responsibilities, Mahmoud had 15 years of solid experience in marketing within top multinational companies. Most notable positions held in his marketing career progression were:
The Marketing Director for Savola Edible Oils in Egypt.
The Regional Marketing Manager of Unilever for the Near East region.
Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Cairo University (Egypt), a Master of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo (Egypt), an Advanced Marketing Diploma from the Institute of Marketing Management (South Africa), a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CFM (Certified Financial Manager) from the Institute of Management Accounting (USA).
Mahmoud has lectured in reputable entities covering the areas of strategic management, marketing management and business performance evaluation; he is a frequent guest speaker in high profile business conferences and forums in Egypt and the region.
MehrHaytham Mustafa / Egypt
Haytham professional experience groups the best of both worlds: Marketing and Advertising. With names like P&G, Nokia and Orascom Development on his resume where he held several Marketing Positions the last of which was Marketing Director for Orascom Development & Management. And BBDO in Advertising where he lead the position of Regional Business Development Director for Egypt. Haytham had the chance to work on a multitude of brands from all sorts of sectors such as Etisalat, TMG, Unionair, Government endorsed Birth Control, Afia and Edita (to name a few).
He is now the GM of Trout and Partners Egypt with the mission to establish it as the leading “Strategic Brand Positioning and Communication Consultant” in Egypt.
MehrDr Mike Fabricius / South Africa
Mike Fabricius is an experienced strategist, manager, marketer and entrepreneur who played a leadership role in the successful development of the South African tourism industry and has been consulting at an international level since 2004. After occupying various senior management positions in South Africa’s tourism industry he established The Journey, an independent international tourism advisory and consultancy practice. Mike regularly participates as advisor and expert in various assignments for the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) andThe Journey has managed and executed tourism planning projects for a range of clients in 25 countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and various provinces and regions of South Africa. Mike regularly presents courses on tourism destination management for tourism professionals worldwide. He is an Editorial Board member of the international Journal of Sustainable Tourism and his profile is included in the Who’s Who in Southern Africa.
Dr Fabricius holds a PhD (Nelson Mandela University) and an MBA (cum laude) (UNISA). In 2002 he was awarded the University of South Africa Council Medal for the best student over 4 years of the Master of Business Leadership. His thesis was entitled “Competitive Strategies for Tourism Destinations”.
